can anybody.... find me

i thought about going to sleep, but then i figured i might as well blog. maybe then it will be much easier to sleep. these past 2 months have gone by so fast, its hard to believe its already october. i love this too busy lifestyle. Everything is going so fast i love having to keep up. im sad that i only get to see my friends on the weekend, but its all worth it.

my volunteering has been going well. It's so sad to see so much hate in the world. The policy that my organization and many other civil rights and immigration organizations worked so hard to come up with passed the public safety committee which means it will be going up against the Board of Supervisors of San Francisco for a vote. We have to get 8/11 supes (a super majority) to be veto proof. Lets hope this works. Anyway, since it passed i had to comment on new articles online and blogs pro immigration rights. Reading what some of these people say about immigrants specifically latino immigrants are so fucking mean. i didn't know there was so much hate against this group of people. Saying things like "these people made San Francisco garbage" "deport all immigrants" bullshit like that. fuck ignorant people.

this semester is crazy. i love it

were only young once. with that said i made up my mind, i want to travel. i want to see the world. so once i graduate (crossesfingers) FALL'10 i will take a year off and travel. see the world because life is too short to regret and way too short to not take risks. I do have quite busy 2 months let's just hope i can keep this and school up. next week, me and shorteey will be painting LA gold. November, i will be doing it super live in vegas, and.... winter break NEW YORK. im so ready to explore and get out this bubble called the Bay Area. This place is way too small.

im ready for my close up

fall has got to be the best season ever. the crisp air, scarves, and boots. im so ready to lose the summer dresses and gladiator flats. too bad i bought some new ones and i havent worn them. i guess im ready for next year. speaking of fall, new beginnings. i feel like fall is the start of a new year. you forget those crazy hot and drunken nights of summer and start a whole new school year+ drunken cold nights. oh yeah back to the new, im starting to volunteer in the mission district of SF to work with a organization that is working (along with other orgs) to pass a new law regarding undocumented youth. it feels so right doing something for the community and i do recommend everyone to get familiar with the issues that occur in our communities. i promise its rewarding.

im getting sick. and i miss my friends because i feel like since school started to kick my ass i have been MIA. tip of the day: MUST FIND MOTIVATION.

true life: i am an insomnaic

so here i am sitting up on my bed at 5 in the morning pretending i dont have to be up in less than 3 hours. i cant sleep though. All this tossing and turning is just not working for me. i even considered popping some nyquils, but then i dont want to be dependent on them. my sister told me that people who cannot sleep have a lot on their mind and that i should write down my thoughts and ill sleep at ease. let's hope this works:

all i can think about is shoes. yes, it may sound superficial but i wish i could buy every shoe that i loved in the world. oh and you know what doesnt help?
- having a laptop handy whenever something pops up in your mind and you google it.
- ondemand anything. including dvr. luckily i have caught up with what i need to catch up on.
- twitter: i swear i feel like i need to refresh it all the time even if i know its fucking 4am and people sleep.
- online window shopping. as if i am not in enough debt as it is. i feel like i have to have everything and anything.
- thinking about a book that i need to read by next week. oh and the online midterm that is also due next week.
- money doesn't grow on trees.
- NEW YORK is expensive. but i need to be there
- my phone blinking and i HAVE to see whats making it blink.
- the fact that the non profit i am trying to volunteer at is not contacting me even if i have tried to contact them
- online classes should have never been invented. lack of motivation and discipline.
- i really want to look into designing shoes. i think there is a market that is completely ignored.
- how dependent i am on the mall. which reminds me i have to find something to wear for taras unless i wear what i already have. dont you hate when you KNOW you have clothes that you havent even worn and you always seem to NEVER have anything to wear.
- being unemployed. this is my first time in a long time that i havent worked. life is fun but im suffering from fundsalow.
- the 8578957489789302 pages i have to read for my criminal justice class.
- my methodolgy teacher thinks shes so funny, too bad shes not. her sarcastic remarks are tired and she is not helpful.
- law schoool.
- i need a vacation. Though i am unemployed, this is the most stressed out i have been EVER. Who knew just being a full time student was harder than being both a fulltime worker and student.
- why i would rather spend whatever i have on useless materialistic things rather than save.
- OH my lack there of a savings account.
- 528 pgs to read / 5 days = about 100 pages a day

alright, so i let it all out. let's hope this works.

its hard keeping up with this blog when theres just so much going on. my life is great but maybe i lost sight of what i want from life. please dont get me wrong though, i love being this party girl living life and seizing every opportunity to enjoy it (with my occasional drinking habits LOL). however, i feel like maybe its taking over my life?
